It's been a while!

Well it has been quite a while since I've posted an update. I started school in July 2009! I am going to Stevens-Henager College, I'm in the Medical Specialties program. I am studying to be a Medical Assistant, and I'm thinking about going to Nursing school later on. I am doing pretty good in school, I've made the honor roll a few times, I am currently on the honor roll! I am now on my Christmas break! I just finished two classes. One was a pharmacology class that focused on math, it was difficult in that it was a morning class and it's not really nice to make people do pharmacy calculations half asleep, but I survived it and so did my instructor. I did my CNA clinicals during this set of classes, we call them modules. I was lucky enough to do my clinicals at Pine View rehab center, it's a nice place. I enjoyed the work and the residents were so great. The CNA's I worked with were great people, the 2nd day I laughed a lot working with a great CNA.
When I go back to school in January I will be starting my final class! I am so excited to be so close to the end. I will start my externship after my final class and I'm really excited about that. I graduate in 2011!!!! So that is what is up with me this year.

life is crazy

Wow, I can't believe August is almost over. I have been a bit busy working and getting into that mode. I do enjoy work though and I work with awesome people, they make me laugh and sometimes I return the favor.
Tom is moving to Idaho, I can't believe baby brother is moving away, it's crazy.
My sweet little niece Sara turned 1 on August 14th, but I wasn't feeling well enough to go to her birthday party. But I'm sure I will be forgiven someday when she is old enough to understand. My sister forgave me.
I do have new pictures to post, but not with me currently, I'll have to bring them to work tomorrow, they're from my river raftin trips! The trips were so awesome!
And now my sweet little cousin Whitney is going on a mission, I hardly think she is old enough but apparently she is. Good luck sweet Whitney!

working

So I got a new job. I am now a temp in the office at my dad's business. It's not too bad. I get to be in a nice office all day, on day's I'm needed, answer phones and do filing, faxing, etc. And I get to see my dad a little bit more than usual, and get paid for that!
I am so tired today though, I guess 2 weekends spent camping and river rafting are catching up to me but that's ok, I can take a nap after work.
So to answer anyone's question, yes I did move back home with my parents, no longer living with Stacy. It would be kind of crazy to drive to north to work from Bountiful don't ya think.

The Zoo!

Saturday was so much fun, my 2 oldest sisters and their families, Tom and his girlfriend and her two cute kids, and I went to the zoo! We had so much fun wandering around lookin at the animals. There were certain ones the kids wanted to see. Of course we had to see the elephants and then the giraffes, we got to see the baby giraffe! We went on the carousel, it was so fun, I got to ride the tortoise!! The white alligator was sleeping when we saw him, the nerve of some animals, ya know.
After a hot day at the zoo, we took the kids swimming to cool them off and make sure they were really worn out so they would sleep well. It was really fun. I helped my sister, Stacy with her kids at the pool because my sister Nancy and her husband got a flat tire so my bro-in-laws were taking care of that like the entire time we were swimming. Stacy and I would trade off watching kids, Johnny kept me on my toes, he is fast on land, I just didn't know he would be so fast in the water. Not only were the kids worn out from an awesome day, but so was I. I'm sure the other 6 adults were too. I can't wait until I get some pictures from Nancy and Tiff!

YAY!

I am so proud of my sister, Stacy. She passed the state board and is now a nurse. She found out this morning and came running down the hall squealing,"I passed, I passed!" and woke me up, but I was way excited for her. So the 3 of us, me, her and her hubby.. the kids stayed at their grandparents last night.. went out for breakfast to celebrate!
It's been a good day. Tom is here and it's fun to have him hanging out with us. I miss hanging out with tom since I've come to stay at Stacy's. We went to dinner with him last night and he was making me laugh so hard that I thought I would die, or pee my pants and that just made him make even more jokes because he thinks that prospect is very funny.

I got bored!

So I got bored and decided to make a Meez avatar on photobucket. She dresses like I wish I had the budget to dress. How sad is that? I guess this is just how weird I can get when I am bored. I am hoping it could get worse than this, crazier than this.. I am sure there are crazier things than this!

Awesome!

I love the singles ward I'm attending. There are so many people who think I am still under 21, it's so awesome! They are so shocked when I tell them that I am actually 25. Today it was the Bishop's turn to be surprised and then he told me it was a great compliment that he thought I was younger, I was like, yes, I enjoyed it a lot. The average age that they think I am is like 19, so I guess I can pass for a teenager because 19 is still technically a teen!
I called my daddy first thing this morning, before I even crawled out of bed and wished him a Happy Father's Day. I knew he would be awake and not yet in church. My dad is the greatest guy and my dad's the coolest guy, he could throw a ball so high you think it's gonna break the sky, he knows the name of every kind of jet.. VROOOM!! My dad, my dad's the greatest guy I've met.. (that is what I remember from a song we used to sing to my dad)
