YAY!

I am so proud of my sister, Stacy. She passed the state board and is now a nurse. She found out this morning and came running down the hall squealing,"I passed, I passed!" and woke me up, but I was way excited for her. So the 3 of us, me, her and her hubby.. the kids stayed at their grandparents last night.. went out for breakfast to celebrate!
It's been a good day. Tom is here and it's fun to have him hanging out with us. I miss hanging out with tom since I've come to stay at Stacy's. We went to dinner with him last night and he was making me laugh so hard that I thought I would die, or pee my pants and that just made him make even more jokes because he thinks that prospect is very funny.

I got bored!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
So I got bored and decided to make a Meez avatar on photobucket. She dresses like I wish I had the budget to dress. How sad is that? I guess this is just how weird I can get when I am bored. I am hoping it could get worse than this, crazier than this.. I am sure there are crazier things than this!

Awesome!

I love the singles ward I'm attending. There are so many people who think I am still under 21, it's so awesome! They are so shocked when I tell them that I am actually 25. Today it was the Bishop's turn to be surprised and then he told me it was a great compliment that he thought I was younger, I was like, yes, I enjoyed it a lot. The average age that they think I am is like 19, so I guess I can pass for a teenager because 19 is still technically a teen!
I called my daddy first thing this morning, before I even crawled out of bed and wished him a Happy Father's Day. I knew he would be awake and not yet in church. My dad is the greatest guy and my dad's the coolest guy, he could throw a ball so high you think it's gonna break the sky, he knows the name of every kind of jet.. VROOOM!! My dad, my dad's the greatest guy I've met.. (that is what I remember from a song we used to sing to my dad)

FRIDAY THE 13TH

I love Friday the 13th, it's just a cool day. Yesterday just so happened to be my nephew Danny's 5th birthday! I was so excited for him, he finally got to have a birthday on Friday the 13th.
Me, I've been lucky enough to have a few as I am a wee bit older. My 8th and 25th birthdays all landed on Friday the 13th. My 8th birthday was by far one of the coolest though because I was baptized that day! I am not one for superstition now because I had one of the best experiences of my life happen on a day when it's supposed to be a crazy, weird, bad day. My 25th birthday was pretty good too, I went to the zoo with my brother and some friends and I got to see the white alligator, who is very much like me, if he stays out in the sun too long, he too will sunburn. So I have come to the conclusion, Friday the 13th rocks! But that could change, ask me again on my 30th birthday, and maybe I'll have changed my mind.

finally got pictures

I am so excited! Tiffany(Tom's girlfriend) finally posted the pictures she took Saturday at Stacy's graduation luau. I got my hands on them and now I am sharing them with whoever reads this blog. I just cut my hair a couple weeks ago and I know that some of you haven't seen me with short hair like this ever, it's weird for me too.Saturday was neat cause we finally got to meet Tiff, she's a nice girl. My nephews were like "Tom's got a girlfriend", it was awesome, I was very proud of them. We did tease Tom about eloping too, that was good fun. He was a good sport about it and she said she'll come back again, so we didn't scare her off like Tom was afraid we might. Of course he's had plenty of time to warn her about us too.

The graduation and luau...

So graduation was awesome! I don't feel bad that we didn't have an air horn to blow when Stacy's name got called, we are too cool for that. We had plenty of people to make noise though. It was so awesome, that is the only word I can think of to describe it.
We came back to the house and it was party time. We got our luau on!! There was so much food and there are so many leftovers, I think we were ready to pull people off the street to give them food so it would get eaten and not go bad. The kids had so much fun running around and Johnny boy bless his heart stuck his fingers in the icing on the cake as often as he could get to it. The hula dancers were quite good, I didn't even know you could take hula lessons here in Utah, pretty cool.
But what's a party without a trip to the ER?? My poor brother-in-law landed funny trying to jump off a small wall in the yard while cleaning up. He severely sprained his left ankle and is on crutches for about a week, I feel so bad for him. He is in a lot of pain and it made a long day even longer.
Another highlight was finally meeting Tom's girlfriend. She's way sweet and I think 2 of my nephews have crushes on her, they talked to her through most of the graduation ceremony. Of course they did get their teasing in too, we did tell them that they could tease Tom, tease Tom all they wanted!! It was great fun.
